Access Medical Care Imran Khan Renowned Cricket Legend, Former Prime Minister Of Pakistan

The Issue

Protect Human Dignity, Uphold International Law, Act Now

We, the undersigned, call for immediate and independent medical care for Mr. Imran Khan, former Prime Minister of Pakistan, who is currently in prisoned .

Reports indicating prolonged delays and denial of essential medical treatment — including serious concerns regarding his eyesight and overall health — raise grave humanitarian and legal concerns.

Access to proper medical care is not a privilege. It is a fundamental human right. International human rights law — including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), and the United Nations Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners (Nelson Mandela Rules) — clearly requires that all detainees be treated with humanity, dignity, and provided necessary medical attention without delay.

This appeal is not about politics.

It is about basic human dignity, justice, and adherence to international standards.

The health and well-being of any detainee — especially a former head of government and a widely supported public leader — is a matter of national dignity and international responsibility. Any deterioration in his health while under state custody risks damaging public trust, undermining rule of law, and raising serious human rights concerns.

We Urgently Call Upon:
United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)
Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR)
European Union institutions and human rights bodies
Amnesty International
Human Rights Watch
International medical and humanitarian organizations

We Demand:
An immediate and independent medical examination by qualified specialists.
Unrestricted access to necessary medical treatment and facilities.
Full transparency regarding medical condition.
Strict adherence to international standards governing the treatment of detainees.

Access to family and human rights organizations for positive reporting and making negative reporting

Silence in the face of potential humanitarian risk weakens the global framework that protects all individuals, everywhere.

We urge the international community to act swiftly, impartially, and responsibly to ensure that justice, compassion, and international law prevail.

Human rights are universal — they do not depend on political differences.

Please sign this petition to defend human dignity and uphold the rule of law on humanitarian bases.
