En Mijas, municipio de la provincia de Malaga (Andalucia, sur de España) a dia de hoy se sigue manteniendo viva la figura del ¨Burro Taxi¨

Decenas de burros permanecen la mayor parte del dia amarrados a una barra de hierro de la que apenas pueden despegarse unos centimetros , además cargan con diferentes decoraciones en la cara y por todo el cuerpo que les mantiene mas incomodos aun. 

Estos animales son obligados a realizar el trabajo de un vehiculo de motor : transportando a personas por las empinadas cuestas del municipio , siendo esta ademas, una de sus actividades más publicitadas desde su propia oficina de turismo dependiente del Ayuntamiento de Mijas.

 En los videos se puede ver como estos animales desarrollan esteriotipias y comportamirntos repetitivos , como gritan desesperados y tiran de las cadenas de que los mantienen casi inmoviles.

Estas actividades no se corresponden con este siglo!! El maltrato animal no puede ser una actividad de ocio!!

EXIGIMOS AL AYUNTAMIENTO DE MIJAS LA INMINENTE SUSPENSION DE ESTE SERVICIO QUE INFIERE EN UN CLARO DELITO DE MALTRATO ANIMAL.

In Mijas, a municipality in the province of Malaga (Andalusia, southern Spain) to this day is still kept alive the figure of the ¨Burro Taxi¨.

Dozens of donkeys remain most of the day tied to an iron bar from which they can barely take off a few centimeters, also carry different decorations on the face and all over the body that keeps them even more uncomfortable. 

These animals are forced to do the work of a motor vehicle: transporting people up the steep slopes of the municipality, being this also one of its most publicized activities from its own tourist office dependent on the Mijas Town Hall.

 In the videos you can see how these animals develop stereotypical and repetitive behaviors, how they scream in desperation and pull the chains that keep them almost immobile.

These activities do not correspond to this century! Animal abuse cannot be a leisure activity!!!

WE DEMAND TO THE TOWN HALL OF MIJAS THE IMMINENT SUSPENSION OF THIS SERVICE THAT INFLICTS A CLEAR CRIME OF ANIMAL ABUSE.

In Mijas, einer Gemeinde in der Provinz Malaga (Andalusien, Südspanien) wird bis heute die Figur des ¨Burro Taxi¨ am Leben gehalten.

Dutzende von Eseln bleiben die meiste Zeit des Tages an einer Eisenstange angebunden, von der sie sich kaum ein paar Zentimeter lösen können, außerdem tragen sie verschiedene Dekorationen im Gesicht und am ganzen Körper, die sie noch unbequemer machen. 

Diese Tiere sind gezwungen, die Arbeit eines Kraftfahrzeugs zu verrichten: Sie transportieren Menschen die steilen Hänge der Gemeinde hinauf, was auch eine der bekanntesten Aktivitäten des eigenen Tourismusbüros ist, das vom Rathaus von Mijas abhängt.

 In den Videos kann man sehen, wie diese Tiere stereotype und sich wiederholende Verhaltensweisen entwickeln, wie sie verzweifelt schreien und an den Ketten ziehen, die sie fast unbeweglich halten.

Diese Aktivitäten passen nicht in dieses Jahrhundert! Tierquälerei kann keine Freizeitbeschäftigung sein!!!
