Next Steps-Abolish the predatory practices of the Philadelphia Parking Authority

My name is Grace with the Change.org Civic Engagement Team. Congratulations on the momentum you are building on the topic of the Philadelphia Parking Authority's practices. Having 248 people come together to advocate is a big milestone.

When momentum builds on a petition, our team reaches out to the local leaders who have the power to act on the issue. Through outreach we learned key information that will inform the decision making process and supporter mobilization.

The office of State Representative Chris Rabb shared that while the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has some jurisdiction over the PPA, Rep. Rabb himself does not. In Pennsylvania, the Governor appoints the members of a 6-member board that oversees the PPA. Rep. Rabb's office recommended that supporters contact the Governor's Office for support with this effort, which can be done through the Governor's online contact form at https://www.pa.gov/form/governor/contact.html
