Privilege, Power, and the Public Interest: Why the Monarchy Must Go

For too long, the British monarchy has existed above the standards expected of everyone else. When serious allegations and associations involving Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor emerged, what followed was not transparency, accountability, or leadership—but silence, protection, and distance from public scrutiny.

This is not just about one individual. It is about an institution built on inherited privilege, where power is shielded rather than questioned, and where accountability depends on status instead of principle. In any modern democracy, no one should be beyond scrutiny, and no institution should be immune from consequences.

Public trust is earned through responsibility, openness, and equality before the law. When those values are absent—or selectively applied—the institution itself becomes unfit for the society it claims to represent.

The monarchy no longer reflects fairness, justice, or the public interest. It represents an outdated system that protects privilege over people and symbolism over accountability.

That is why I am calling for change.

I ask you to sign and share my petition to support a democratic future where leadership is accountable, transparent, and answerable to the people—not inherited by birthright.

Change begins when we stop accepting silence and start demanding better.

Support accountability. Support equality. Support change.
