The Hundred Tournament has been created as a money maker and to allegedly gain new fans to Cricket despite the rules being different to any other Cricket format and the fact that most players have no affinity at all with the home ground they are playing at.   

It has also forced the recent Ashes series to an early conclusion with no Test matches or even First Class Cricket in August for the first time in years!

Surely its better to have more exposure of T20/50 "County" Cricket on free to view channels as well as Sky so that young/ new supporters hopefully build a long term affinity with their local clubs (rather that a franchise team playing for just one month of the year) and also watching matches that follow the laws of the game.
