The Housing Hunters are a small group of five Western Kentucky University students in Professor Mize-Smith's Comm 349-001 (Small Group Communication) class. 

Our goal with this petition it to gather enough signatures, with the help of the WKU community, to support that the policy stating all full-time undergraduate students are required to live on campus for a minimum of two years MUST be ABOLISHED. 

We believe that this strict policy is negatively impacting not only current students here at WKU, but is also hurting our incoming attendance rate. This past fall, WKU was the only public university in the state to see a decrease in fall enrollment.

If the university were to release students from this harsh restriction, an increase in enrollment is sure to follow. 

Once we have reached our goal of 200 signatures we will send the petition over to administration for review and demand change.
