On Monday, it was devastating to attend a meeting and be told that Claire would be moved to a medium secure unit SOMEWHERE in the UK as soon as everything was sorted and a bed was available.
Given that this goes against everything she has ever been promised, and after being home so often with us her family, and for walks along Swansea sea front, the Marina, around the Liberty and to the Harvester for a drink, to see friends in Brecon and Llandrindod, also Neath/Port Talbot PLUS the fact that I take her, 1 to 1 to Cardiff for Rebound trampolining weekly, and also swimming in the LC2 on Tuesday afternoons - this is just so cruel and heartbreaking.
243 times out of 303 days is pretty impressive, given that she is on Section 3 of the MHA yet she phones up most days asking if she can come home and see us.
She celebrated our silver wedding anniversary with us on Monday evening, after the meeting when we were informed of the above, and is also looking forward to Nicola's birthday at the end of the month, doing the Race for Life in Swansea, hopefully having the chance to see the Swans pre-season friendly against Villarreal, seeing old friends from Llandrindod, plus....... seeing the Lion King in Cardiff with us in November.
Take things like this away from her, and she has nothing to look forward to at all.
We are all living in hope that things will work out for her, and just can't believe what is happening to her, and also the hurt that it is causing us, her family.
Many thanks for your continued support.
