Hello everyone, I want to inform everyone who signed, that we have reached over 500 people who have signed this petition on change.org. I would also like to take this opportunity to say a couple of things about the Australian government. The government's actions appear to be following an ideology that makes welfare difficult to secure and in the process make anyone who applies for welfare feel guilty for applying. I would like to mention that I recently met a 19-year-old teenager who is completely blind in the right eye and has only 25 percent vision in the left eye. He reads the computer and mobile phone screens 2 to 3 cm from his eyes. After a while, I asked him if he was on a disability support pension, he replied that he applied twice and was rejected both times. I could go on with other examples, but you get the message. The previous paragraph illustrates that the government thinks that welfare is increasingly unsustainable and that it doesn't have money to pay for this or that and so attempts to make welfare difficult to access. But the fact of the matter is both the government and the banks create money out of thin air when it suits them. Skeptical? Google the question "Where does money come from?" Check out the videos on YouTube on this very issue of money. Please tell your friends about the petition, and to this end I have attached a image of the petition to post on Facebook, twitter, workplaces, etc. Finally, consider spending some time every week promoting this petition. Thanks for reading. Vito
