On September 17th, 2026 the owner of A Time Four Paws was acquitted of all charges related to an animal cruelty case in July 2025 that led to the death of a beloved French Bulldog named Gus from heat exposure and the removal of 20 other dogs that were not given fresh food or water in a facility that was overcrowded with unsafe conditions and late paychecks for the employees. The DA presented all of the evidence that was guaranteed a guilty verdict. Unfortunately, this was a bench trial meaning Judge Davis delivered the verdict.  There is no reason why these charges were dismissed except for the fact Judge Davis seemed more interested in his nine day personal vacation in between proceedings. We cannot have a Judge that does not care whether an animal lives or dies. These animals were somebody's children. These families deserved justice for their babies! Judge Davis should not spend another day in court deciding who gets away with animal cruelty.  These dogs cannot speak for themselves. We need to be their voice.
