A sequel for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

The Issue

In 2006, we were presented with The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. It was a moody and wondrous Hyrule world like we had never seen before, with a new species of characters and the interesting lore of a new realm. While there was a somewhat definite conclusion to our hero's story, it felt like there was so much more to explore when Link rode off on Epona during the end credits. It felt like he was going in search of something.

Nearly a decade later, fans of the game are still very much in search of something, a sequel to Twilight Princess. We know the developers at Nintendo are always trying to think of fresh new ideas for their IP, but that does not mean we cannot return to continue past adventures. Just look at the most recent Zelda release, Tears of the Kingdom, we had a continuation of Hyrule from Breath of the Wild. Even within the same time period and land mass, the developers gave us big movements in the story and innovated on gameplay we already loved. I ask of you, Nintendo employees who read this, please consider this sequel for game that has been loved by so many. Thank you.
