For seven years I have patiently pursued obtaining the information already held on file regarding the end of my son Sam’s life.

Foolishly I permitted myself to be full of hope leading up to a scheduled meeting today with a district inspector within the Queensland Police, believing I would today walk away with some questions answered.

Yes he was genuinely surprised by the compelling information provided to him today, and says the Police need to investigate further.  But it won’t happen.  And no, not one piece of information was given to me today.  From the top down within the State Government they had the kindest of intentions wishing for me to be provided answers to my unanswered questions.  The Coroner’s Department however is an independent body, accountable to no one, and they continue to refuse to release the information held on file about the end of my son’s life.
