Dear Sir/Madam;

We, the undersigned, respectfully call for a comprehensive review of the current social media filtering policies and the removal of restrictions on international communication platforms.

In today's world, reliable and open access to communication tools is no longer a privilege—it is a fundamental necessity for social, educational, and economic life. The existing restrictions have widened the country's gap from the global flow of information while depriving citizens, businesses, and digital content creators of valuable opportunities.

Social media platforms, including video-sharing services and messaging applications, have become an essential part of the world's communication infrastructure. Millions—and indeed billions—of people, from children, students, and young adults to entrepreneurs and professionals, rely on these platforms for education, business, professional networking, marketing, and everyday communication. Extensive internet filtering in our country has not only hindered the growth of the digital economy but has also driven many users toward insecure and unofficial methods of accessing these essential services.

Furthermore, recent years have shown that broad restrictions have not effectively addressed cultural or social concerns. Instead, they have often reduced public trust, increased communication costs, and deepened the digital divide. Under these circumstances, professionals, entrepreneurs, and online businesses bear the greatest burden, while the intended objectives of content regulation are not sustainably achieved.

Therefore, we respectfully urge the responsible authorities to adopt an approach based on trust, transparency, international best practices, and the legitimate needs of the public by reconsidering existing filtering policies and removing restrictions on international social media and communication platforms. Rather than relying primarily on restrictive measures, we encourage greater investment in digital literacy, education, and constructive cultural initiatives that empower citizens to use online services safely and responsibly.

We sincerely hope that this peaceful civic request will receive serious consideration and contribute to creating an open, secure, ethical, and equitable digital environment for all citizens of Iran.

Thank You For Your Recognition!
