Their own Conservation document and local policy demand that the village of Britford must remain "separate" from Salisbury, a village not a suburb. 

There seems to be no regard for the right of the people who already live in the village not to have the water levels increased. They already contend with flooding problems made worse by climate change. 

We all know the problems of traffic queues on the Downton Road. The road system cannot cope with another 300 cars.

Finally, something of much importance to so many people in Salisbury - the walk out of the city along a footpath through fields to a proper village on the meadows. Thousands of people enjoy this path - a walk beside a housing estate will put an end to that.
