We've passed 1,000 signatures which is fantastic ...but we need many more to get change.

We need more signatures as the petition appears to have ground to a halt. Please don't fall into the trap of thinking ... "well racing motorcycles is dangerous ... of course riders are killed and injured?" My son would not be dead if the corner had been left as it was prior to circa 1996. Building a solid wall 25m from the track edge on the fastest corner was a crazy idea. It happened because the safety of users was not considered. Would you put 500mm long steel spikes into the walls of a squash court? It's the same concept. Watch a Motogp telecast to see what a safe racing circuit looks like ... massive run off areas so riders don't hit solid objects when they fall. It's such a simple problem to fix and so logical, however, it's very difficult to get politicians and the average non motorcycle person to understand.
