Canadians need a modern and perfectible constitution as soon as possible.

 The latest global developments, especially relations with our southern neighbor the United States emphasizes the importance of having a sovereign and independent country, well defined by its constitution.  Canada, the second largest country in the world by area, has an old constitution, derived from several sources, some written, others not, difficult to interpret and at the same time very difficult to improve. It does not clearly define the form of the Canadian state. Are we a dominion, a post-colonial country, or an independent and sovereign country? 

 A new, modern, written, and perfectible Canadian constitution is an essential necessity for the Canadian people. Our politicians must decide this process as quickly as possible to clarify the direction to take for all other areas of development in our society.
