Wikipedia: «Unsuccessful attempts to amend the Canadian Constitution»

Since the Constitution of Canada was patriated in 1982, there have been a number of failed attempts to amend the document under the new amending formula.

To date, only ten minor Amendments to the Constitution of Canada have successfully passed. There have, however, also been a number of unsuccessful attempts that have been defeated in the amending process.

I quoted this extract from Wikipedia to emphasize the importance of a modern and perfectible Constitution for Canada.

Il y eut plusieurs tentatives de modification de la Constitution du Canada depuis son rapatriement en 1982. Jusqu'à maintenant, seulement dix amendements mineurs à la Constitution du Canada ont été adoptés. Plusieurs autres ont été défaits au cours de la procédure de modification. 

J’ai cité cet extrait de Wikipédia pour souligner l’importance d’une Constitution moderne et perfectible pour le Canada.
