A LINE IN THE SAND:END GBV:JUSTICE OR NOTHING
The Issue
This past year has ripped me to shreds—broken me in ways I never imagined. The latest viral stories of women being murdered, abused, and discarded like trash have cut deep into my soul.
I have been raped. I have been abused—emotionally, financially, psychologically—just like so many women in this country.
I have even been planning my own suicide.
But why must we die in vain?
Why should our deaths be silenced, forgotten, and buried beneath the rubble of a broken system?
I have realized this is my purpose. I came here to die—but not by the hand of a man.
I refuse to be another name in the endless list of victims. I refuse to raise my daughter to be slaughtered.
That is why I am standing up. I am calling for the reinstatement of the death penalty in extreme and aggravated cases of femicide and gender-based violence.
This is not about vengeance. It is about justice. It is about spiritual cleansing. It is about protecting the lives of women and girls who deserve to live free of fear.
And I will not do this alone.
I call on all women—every sister, mother, daughter, grandmother, survivor—to stand with me. To offer their lives, their voices, their courage, and their love.
If we must die, let our deaths become a movement so powerful it shakes the world and forces change.
Together, we will make the government hear us. Together, we will draw a line in the sand. Together, we will end this nightmare.
Please join me. Sign this petition. Share your story. Spread the word.
For our daughters. For our sisters. For every woman who still has a chance to live free of fear.
We demand justice. We demand protection. We demand life.
