Hello everyone,
Wishing you all a Happy New Year. I hope this email finds you all well.
This is just a brief update as we approach 30,000 signatures.
We would like to ask our supporters to please send a letter or email to your local and state members of parliament (preferably a letter by mail) or make an appointment to go in and talk with them.
- Share your experience with parental alienating behaviours (in summary to keep them engaged). You can direct them to links on our website.
- The impact it has had on you, your life and your extended family.
- If any, mention the mental health or law professionals that were unable to recognise this form of abuse or if it is found, they didn't know what to do about it.
- Are there stigmas associated with being alienated?
- What has it cost you trying to find a resolution or intervention? Financial, mental, social, physical or perhaps your career.
- Please share a link to our petition and website for further education. www.change.org/ParentalAlienation and www.emmm.org.au
- Ask them if they would please share the petition on their social media platforms, newsletter and business network.
