"Who controls the past controls the future: who controls the present controls the past" As an A Long Talk community member you understand the power of this statement. Controlling the narrative is critical to building or curbing momentum with public opinion and support. 

At A Long Talk, we have worked incredibly hard to build a brand and a following over the last 16 months based on TRUTH. Recently, our brand and our mission have been tarnished by lies and misrepresentations that have been levied against us. We need your help to combat the lies with a show of support and solidarity. 

In a recent meeting of the Oak Bluffs (MA) Select Board, false statements were made that cast a negative light on a community event that we were planning. Kyle will be before the Board via Zoom on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 4:30 pm, to speak truth to power and set the record straight about A Long Talk and the work we are doing. WE NEED YOUR HELP! We ask that you sign your name to this petition in support of A Long Talk AND if you are able, SHOW YOUR FACE on the Zoom call for the first 15 minutes while Kyle is speaking.
