Petition for Support of Consistent, Court-Ordered Visitation

Every child deserves the opportunity to have a loving, meaningful relationship with their father.

I am creating this petition as a father who has spent the last 2–3 years fighting to remain present in his daughter’s life. Throughout this journey, I have continued to fulfill my financial responsibilities by paying child support while facing ongoing challenges in exercising my visitation rights.

Despite having a court order granting me visitation, I have experienced repeated difficulties seeing my daughter. It has now been approximately 4–5 months since my last court ordered visit was granted, and the pain of missing those moments with my little girl is something that is difficult to put into words. I go days and days without hearing a word about how she’s doing.

I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking for the opportunity to be a consistent, loving, and present father in my daughter’s life.

Behind this petition is a father who misses his little girl, who wants to watch her grow, hear about her day, make memories with her, and be there for the milestones that no parent should have to miss. Time is passing, and I cannot get these moments back.

I have continued fighting because my daughter means everything to me. I believe children benefit when they can safely maintain meaningful relationships with both parents, and I want the opportunity to build and maintain that relationship with my daughter.

I am asking for your support.

By signing this petition, you are showing your support for my request that my court-ordered visitation be respected and that I be given a fair opportunity to maintain a consistent relationship with my daughter.

I ask that my situation be heard, that the importance of a father’s presence be recognized, and that my daughter’s well-being remain at the center of this matter.

I am not doing this out of hatred or revenge. I am doing this out of love for my daughter and the hope that I can be the father she deserves.

I will continue to fight for the opportunity to be present in her life.

A daughter should know that her father never stopped trying.
