A Fair Go for Leppington: Direct Trains for a Growing City

We are calling for a FAST, Direct Train Service from Leppington to Central, seamlessly connected via Revesby and Sydenham. This isn't a pipe dream; the infrastructure already exists to make this a reality.

Enough is enough. For too long, South West Sydney has been left behind when it comes to vital public transport. We are a rapidly growing region, yet our daily commute to Central Station is a gruelling test of patience, demanding up to three frustrating train transfers, endless delays, and unreliable connections. This isn't just an inconvenience; it's a profound impact on our lives.

Imagine losing precious hours every single day,  time that could be spent with your family, pursuing your passions, or simply resting. For thousands of residents in Leppington, Edmondson Park, Bardia, Hoxton Park, Emerald Hills, Catherine Field, Gledswood Hills, Denham Court, Oran Park, Harrington Park, Narellan  and surrounding areas, this isn't an imagining; it's a harsh reality. Our current commute affects our livelihoods, our wellbeing, and the precious fabric of our family lives.

We are calling on NSW transport minister  Hon. John GRAHAM for a FAST, Direct Train Service from Leppington to Central, seamlessly connected via Revesby and Sydenham. This isn't a pipe dream; the infrastructure already exists to make this a reality.

It's time for our transport system to catch up with our booming community.

And let's be clear: this problem extends beyond our immediate area. Our neighbours further south, from Campbelltown and Macarthur, are NOT immune to the ripple effect of these overloaded services. In fact, many T8 line commuters joining from Glenfield and beyond often face the indignity of standing room only, as trains are already packed to capacity by the time they reach these crucial interchange points. This is a systemic failure that impacts everyone relying on this corridor.
