This is a detailed piece about the current situation in Kashmir. I think the BJP are playing with fire in imprisoning civilians in this way and cutting them off from the world by curfews, communication blackouts etc. Then, India has no other option since it's begging for Kashmir's love these days and getting nowhere fast. 

Kashmiris are survivors. The sad part about this matter is it demonstrates how weak the UN is in protecting Kashmir. India could invade the west and I suppose everyone would simply sit and allow it to happen.
