There are a number of ways to help Kashmir

1. Everyone should be writing to their local MP and their Foreign Office. They should inform them of the lock down in Kashmir, the human rights violations and multiple reports by the UN. They should then demand that their country consider sanctions against India. If this could be done for all foreign offices around the world, that would help.

2. Keep signing and sharing both petitions. www.kashmirhumanrights.com Each petition signature triggers an email to the UNHRC. There should be thousands by hour not a few.

3. Write and tweet to the UN and UNHRC. Demand that Kashmir is protected. The more the demand, the faster the action. India pays the UN large sums of money to be tame but this can be overturned by public demand. Demand the following

A. An ICJ Referral

B. A Emergency UNSC Review

C. A Resolution for a full inquiry at the Human Rights Council

D. Referral to the ICC for consideration of a way crimes tribunal. You can also write and petition the ICC here https://www.icc-cpi.int/contact

E. Allocation of a Kashmir mediator like Owen Dixon in the past.

F. Economic Sanctions on India

G. Removal of India from the Human Rights Council.

4. Write to each country's UN representatives. Ask if any country is brave enough to put down a Human Rights Council resolution so countries can vote. Appraise each UN mission of the circumstances and truth of Kashmir. Ask for an emergency UNSC Review.

5. Set up a petition to remove India from the Human Rights Council.

6. If you have access to lawyers, try and trigger an application for Kashmir to the International Court of Justice. It can be done. Just that the Kashmiris are powerless, Pakistan is dithering and the rest of us have no jurisdiction. We have approached human rights groups but sadly most are represented by Indians and refuse to move on this matter. These are the contact details https://www.icj-cij.org/en/contact-the-court

7. Keep writing press releases to your county's media

These are practical lobbying methods that can be effective. Protests have limited value because India will be infiltrating protest groups and they have their own activists masquerading as Kashmir supporters.

India has shot themselves in their already hopping foot. Apart from the Maldives and a reluctant UAE, no one supports them. The poor old despots in Government remain isolated.

We long term activists of Kashmir are crippled by the lack of back up. We can't rely on the UN, our own countries or Pakistan to protect us.

These messages and updates are sent under the shadow of multiple death threats. We can only suggest that you the public take over and do your best for Kashmir.

Kashmiris must keep calm and keep moving forward. We know them to be bright and resourceful.

Thankyou and please share this message.
