Kashmir's situation is described by TIME magazine here. More than 500 people have been arrrested .

Congress has made an application to the Supreme Court to lift the communication blackout.

People are starving due to lack of food. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/08/07/kashmir-residents-say-starving-first-accounts-surface-lock-down/

As predicted, India will continue this draconian behaviour until they have fully controlled Kashmir. India wants to make everyone obey them. We wait to see whether the UN will listen to India's money or listen to blatant human rights violations.

The only good thing about this period is that India's true face of fascism is shown to the outside world. Gone are the calm days of Yoga Diplomacy where it made the entire UNGA stand on one foot and chant "Om Shanti".

We predicted these days last year. And now it's here. Supreme control the fascist way. I hope Pakistan regrets the day they supported India's Yoga Day diplomacy on their Twitter account. Had they applied their mind to an ICJ application for Kashmir on that day instead of waving the Indian flag on their Twitter account, perhaps we wouldn't have seen so much suffering. Those who don't believe me about Pakistan and it's Yoga Day antics should read this https://www.wionews.com/india-news/pakistan-government-posts-yogaday-on-twitter-indian-flag-pops-deleted-later-as-twitter-takes-a-dig-229245 . I will never forgive Pakistan for compromising Kashmir in this way and undermining the hard work we did at the UNHRC to achieve the Report for Kashmir.

India's psychological operations are fairly difficult to tolerate but I know Kashmir will know their strength lies in intellectual planning not knee jerk reactions. All they have to do is survive this period without being killed or arrested. Numbers matter in all aspects. Sometimes there's benefits in silent resistance. More so than violent resistance which is counter productive.

Pakistan is talking about the ICJ but has at least stopped trade with India. I hope they make up for their lax policy on Kashmir and their utter mismanagement of the situation. I refer to their PTI Government who have been lax over Kashmir for too long. They are lucky that countries like Malaysia, Turkey and China have stood by Pakistan https://www.aa.com.tr/en/asia-pacific/abide-by-unsc-resolutions-on-kashmir-malaysia/1552998 .

After selling their soul to the UAE and ignoring Yemen, Pakistan finds that the UAE supported India. There's a irony https://www.trtworld.com/asia/uae-gives-its-backing-to-india-over-kashmir-treaty-revocation-28820 . The UN though continues to stay on Kashmir's side. https://m.khaleejtimes.com/international/dont-change-kashmir-status-un-chief-to-india-pakistan

There are prayers for Kashmir. I fear prayers are not enough.
