Dear Sirs,
I am writing to you regarding the hearing you have regarding India's Human Rights abuses on the 7th June 2016. I wish to highlight the human rights violations in Kashmir evidenced by various reports from Amnesty and Human Rights Watch. India continues to blame Pakistan and is in continual denial of the evidence before it.
I have investigated the situation in great depth for a number of years. The people of Kashmir have been subjected to inhumane treatment for decades.
The Kashmir population suffers from one of the highest levels of post traumatic stress disorder in the world due to the human rights violations the population has been subjected to. Most describe their daily living conditions as an open air prison. India has violated their basic fundamental rights, defamed every rebel by falsely labeling them terrorists, shoots civilians without justification, imprisons any opposition so there is no challenge to the status quo and silences any critics. India continues undeterred. Moreover human rights groups have confirmed extra judicial killings, huge numbers of unmarked graves, high numbers of missing civilians etc They believe no rule of law applies to them. Indeed, they are a power that abuses the rights of others. This cannot be allowed to continue.
I set up a petition, available here www.kashmirhumanrights.com . I am neither Indian or Pakistani. My interests have only been in the welfare of the Kashmiri people. I have no political interests. I felt we needed to raise the awareness of the plight of the Kashmiri people in an international forum. Nearly 8000 people have signed the petition to hold India accountable. The signatories are from all over the world. They demand international intervention in this matter as soon as possible.
One of the biggest limiting factors is fact that the Public Safety Act in Kashmir prevents its population from campaigning. Many fear they will be arrested. It is due to this reason that the few thousand signatures achieved so far has been under difficult circumstances. I have therefore sought to collect the evidence regarding the voice of the people from social networking. Everyone supporting Kashmir is subjected to online abuse and attacks by those who support the Indian government. I certainly have collected evidence of how India ensures the voices of the Kashmiri people are suppressed and silenced. As you can see, it is incredibly difficult for the Kashmiri people to mount a campaign without being arrested or penalized or victimized in some way.
I have collected most of the evidence in the form of local articles here

I hope you will consider the above material. I am in possession of most reports concerning Kashmir's human rights situation. I am very happy to send you these reports. I hope the human rights groups in Kashmir will write to you as well.
I hope your hearing will be able to consider the high volume of evidence against India. There is certainly huge levels of evidence of atrocities committed to Kashmiris.
India should be held accountable for the crimes against humanity. Kashmir continues without democracy despite great depand for a referendum.India continues to hold Kashmir force using wholly unacceptable draconian techniques seen in medieval times. Prime Minsiter Modi has always believed in showing America and all international parties a false face of India. India is currently in violation of international law. The evidence in Kashmir demonstrates that India has committed human rights violations unacceptable of any democracy.
I hope you will ensure that the plight of the Kashmiri people is raised in your hearing as the world caannot remain unaware of India's human rights violations. Thankyou in advance for considering the information.
Regards
