Ace-hi riding ranch in boneo, Victoria, on the Mornington peninsula.These following points are of major concern at Ace-Hi Ranch and have been forwarded for discussion to our local MP, Worksafe, Animals Australia, RSPCA Vic and will be addressed to the media; *Animal Welfare - Malnourished, over worked, aged, injured - photos, videos, previous staff & manager statements. *Public Safety - Unsafe saddles, tack, unsafe mounting procedure and area, unsafe horses, unsafe trails *Workplace Compliance - No training, no support, no fire drill, no first aid, underpaid staff (current fairworks claim in place) *Firearms - Current manager public stating in front of staff & volunteers that he should get his gun & shoot the horses out the back paddock instead of taking them to market. - Previous staff member who witnessed this has made an official police statement and has since resigned from Ace-Hi. *Council Permit Compliance - Ace-Hi Ranch onsite Caravan Park is permitted to allow maximum 50 horses on site at any one time, past 12 months has seen in excess of 60+ horses, March 2015: 71 horses. *Camps Accreditation - Safety of minors, not all staff on guided rides are accredited first aid and not all staff have working with children checks, unsafe horses, unsafe tack, unsafe mounting area, unsafe trails. *OH&S - Unsafe tack, unsafe equipment, unsafe tools, non existent policies & procedures, no training & support, no protective clothing/helmet for motorbike or tractor. *Lack of Riding School Legislation - No monitoring of horse health, care and practices, tack not checked, areas accessible to the public are not checked.
