Bilaspur once had a city bus service. COVID-19 suspended it. The pandemic ended years ago but our buses never came back.

The buses are not missing. They are sitting idle in the depot right now. The vehicles exist. The money has been spent. But thousands of Bilaspur residents still struggle every single day while those buses collect dust.

 
Who Is Paying The Price?
A student who cannot afford daily auto fares and misses college. An elderly person who skips hospital visits because getting there is too hard. A daily wage worker from a nearby village who spends a third of his earnings just on commuting.

These are not statistics. These are your neighbors, your family, your people.

We pay our road taxes, our municipal taxes every rupee the government demands. And in return, we cannot even get a basic bus service in one of the largest cities in Chhattisgarh. Where is our money going?

 
One Person Stood Up Now It Is Time For All Of Us
A few days ago, I one concerned citizen filed a formal complaint on the CG Portal about this. I did it alone. But one voice is not enough.

I am also planning to personally visit the Collector of Bilaspur and submit a formal letter. When I walk into that office, I want to carry the signatures of every Bilaspur resident who stands behind this demand.

Support this petition. Forward it to everyone you know. Share it with journalists and local media so they can write about it and force the authorities to respond.

Bilaspur Cannot Grow Without Its Buses
If we want Bilaspur to grow and develop, bringing back the city bus service is not optional  it is essential. A city grows when its people can move freely. Without public transport, students lose opportunities, workers lose income, and our city loses its future.

And when those buses finally roll out of the depot, they will also create jobs drivers, conductors, mechanics real employment for the people of Bilaspur.

The solution is already sitting in the depot. There is no excuse for further delay.
