We were hoping to share details with our supporters on the progress of the project to improve the active transport links between Penclawdd and Gowerton. Unfortunately the upcoming general election seems to have delayed the process, please see response from Swansea Local Authority:

"The announcement of the general election means local authorities are subject to certain restrictions on what they can do (this period is known as ‘purdah’). Once that period has completed, we intend to progress with the development of this scheme to include further investigatory works to include confirming the preferred route alignment, identify different design options, establish any ecological / geological constraints, obtain necessary permissions etc and carry out public engagement to get the public’s feedback on the proposals. I hope to be able to provide further information on timescales after the 4th July."
