The hope by highlighting the poor footway between Gowerton and Penclawdd we can urge Swansea Local Authority to ensure the necessary improvements are completed so all users can safely travel between both villages and beyond whether that be a mobility scooter, a bicycle, by walking or other active travel means.

To ensure everyone arrives in time to purchase a refreshment before kick-off our Walking Group will depart at 1pm (estimated 1.20minutes) and our Cycling Group will depart 1.50pm (estimated 30minutes). To encourage a fun event we think FANCY DRESS is a must, so colourful & bold costumes will add to this fun local celebration. Of course, it’s entirely your choice!! All ages and abilities are welcome.

We have had notable vocal support from local councillors in the last 7 days to our campaign which is very welcome. Thankyou to Councillors Andrew Williams, Sue Jones, Dai Jenkins, Matthew Palmer and Andrew Stevens who have got behind our campaign. Finally we have been invited to a workshop next week with other stakeholders on the 1st steps of the feasibility study. We will share any important outcomes in the coming weeks.
