Greetings to your honor,

From the 6th to 18th of November, Egypt is  hosting the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27). Which Egypt worked hard after the 26th edition in Glasgow, in cooperation with the United Nations, to organize it and bring it out in the best way to bring together all the leaders and actors in the world concerned with preserving the environment in one place; To discuss the great challenges facing our planet.

Unfortunately , just  48 hours after the start of the conference, the signatories of this statement were surprised that there are some international groups and organizations that seek to hijack the conference, distance it from its real goals, and use it to serve goals that have nothing to do with environmental issues, the dangers of climate change, or the rules and traditions of the international conferences. 

Accordingly, the signatories to this statement call on you to immediately intervene with the powers and decisions of the United Nations on the course of events and sessions in the conference; To return the conference to its right track, which is concerned with the search for creating a real international consensus for the protection of the environment and the climate.

تشهد مصر في الفترة من 6 إلى 18 نوفمبر انعقاد الدورة السابعة والعشرين لمؤتمر الدول الأطراف في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة الإطارية لتغير المناخ COP27. والذي عملت مصر بجهد كبير بعد النسخة 26 في جلاسكو، بالتعاون مع الأمم المتحدة على تنظيمه وخروجه بأفضل صورة ليجمع كل القادة والفاعلين في العالم من المعنيين بالحفاظ على البيئة في مكان واحد؛ لبحث التحديات الكبيرة التي يواجهها كوكبنا.
لكن بعد انطلاق المؤتمر بـ 48 ساعة فوجئ الموقعون على هذا البيان أن هناك بعض المجموعات والمنظمات الدولية تسعى إلى القفز على المؤتمر، والنأي به بعيدًا عن أهدافه الحقيقية، وتوظيفه لخدمة أهداف ليس لها أي علاقة بقضايا البيئة أو مخاطر التغير المناخي أو القواعد والتقاليد الخاصة بالمؤتمرات الدولية.
وعليه يطالب الموقعون على هذا البيان سيادتكم بالتدخل الفوري بما لدى الأمم المتحدة من سلطات وقرارات على مسار الفعاليات والجلسات في المؤتمر؛ لإعادة المؤتمر إلى مساره الصحيح الذي هو معني بالبحث عن خلق أكبر مساحة من التوافق الدولي لحماية البيئة والمناخ.

Du 6 au 18 novembre, , l'Égypte accueille la 27e Conférence des Parties à la Convention-cadre des Nations Unies sur les changements climatiques (COP27). Quelle Egypte a travaillé d'arrache-pied après la 26e édition à Glasgow, en coopération avec les Nations Unies, pour l'organiser et la faire ressortir de la meilleure façon afin de réunir tous les dirigeants et acteurs du monde soucieux de la préservation de l'environnement en un même lieu ; Pour discuter des grands défis auxquels notre planète est confrontée.

Malheureusement, à peine 48 heures après le début de la conférence, les signataires de cette déclaration ont été surpris que certains groupes et organisations internationaux cherchent à détourner la conférence, à l'éloigner de ses véritables objectifs et à l'utiliser pour servir des objectifs qui n'ont rien à faire avec les questions environnementalesb et les dangers du changement climatique ou les règles et traditions des conférences internationales.
En conséquence, les signataires de cette déclaration vous demandent d'intervenir immédiatement avec les pouvoirs et les décisions des Nations Unies sur le déroulement des événements et des sessions de la conférence pour remettre la conférence dans la bonne voie, qui concerne la recherche de la création d'un véritable consensus international pour la protection de l'environnement et du climat.
