Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

As the genocide in Gaza unfolds before the eyes of the world, the cries of our Ummah pierce our hearts. We bear witness to relentless brutality, to the destruction of homes, the killing of children, and the desecration of sanctities. Across Canada and elsewhere, Muslims have responded with compassion and action—through generous charity, mass protests, boycotts, and public awareness. May Allah (SWT) accept and reward every sincere effort made for His sake.

But the scale of suffering demands more than these gestures. It demands that we, as an Ummah, confront the reality of our situation and uphold the obligations placed upon us by our faith.

Therefore, we, the members of the Muslim community in Canada and globally—issue this united call:

To the leaders, officers, and soldiers of the Muslim armies—mobilize, intervene, and fulfill your divine duty to defend the Ummah and liberate the blessed land of Palestine.

This is not a call rooted in emotion or nationalism—it is a call grounded in the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and the unanimous legal tradition of Islam. The defense of Muslim lives and the liberation of occupied lands is a fard 'ayn (an individual obligation) upon the capable among us, and the greatest capability lies with the armed forces of the Muslim world.

These armies were established from the wealth of the Ummah and exist to safeguard its blood, honour, and sanctities. While the Ummah continue to support relief and awareness efforts, we affirm without hesitation: true protection for the people of Palestine will only come through the military intervention of the Muslim armies.

"وَإِنِ اسْتَنصَرُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ فَعَلَيْكُمُ النَّصْرُ"

(Surah Al-Anfal, 8:72)

To the soldiers and commanders in the Muslim world:

The eyes of the Ummah are upon you.

The blood of Gaza calls you.

The sanctity of Al-Aqsa awaits you.

Let not history record our silence while the children of Palestine are buried beneath rubble and the masjid of Al-Quds cries for liberation. Let us not withhold our voices while possessing the truth of Islam and the clarity of its commands.

We stand united in this urgent call. We raise our voices together, not in desperation, but in obedience to Allah (SWT) and in loyalty to our brothers and sisters in Palestine.

May Allah (SWT) grant victory to the oppressed, awaken the hearts of the capable, and bring about the liberation of Al-Aqsa and all of Palestine through righteous and sincere means.
