It's clear that Manitoba has the potential to do better. Our labour laws, including The Workplace Safety and Health Act, the Human Rights Code cap on discrimination damages, and the “Respectful Workplace” policy, are in dire need of reevaluation and amendments that align with the Canadian Charter. We deserve laws that truly protect and empower everyone in our community.
