Convicted child abusers cannot live next to daycares, parks or schools for the clear and present danger issues and risk they pose to children and communities.

As of now, it is LEGAL for child abusers to live with non-biological children.

This is concerning, this is dangerous to all children and the communities that don't know where they lurk.

This is a loophole in the laws in place- and it scary.

My bill aims to protect these children in the home, in the community and also send a message to adults/head of household that allow these dangerous people in their homes posing a clear and present threat, that they will be also be legally held on child endangerment charges.

Convicted child abusers don't deserve a second chance to abuse, they need stronger laws to keep them away and away from our children.
