We made the news — keep the pressure on

Dear Friends,

We've been consistent and persistent — and it's making a difference.

The Oregonian, FOX 12, KOIN, and Hoodline have all covered our fight to find a better location for OBRC Proposed Bottle Drop at SE Milwaukie and Powell. The stories confirm: this is a dangerous intersection, the funding model to support the Bottle Drop has 'unraveled', and this site still has no signed lease and no building permit — yet OBRC and The People's Depot are still pushing toward a July 26 opening anyway.

Read. Watch. Share and tell a friend.

More than 1,200 neighbors have signed our petition! Thank you. We are being heard — and we can't let up now. Please take two minutes to email Mayor Wilson and ask him to pause this project: mayor@portlandoregon.gov — and CC District 3 Councilors Steve Novick, Angelito Morillo, and Tiffany Koyama Lane.

Thank you for standing with us! Please keep sharing the Petition!  Check out www.innerpowell.org for an FAQ and the City's own report on Bottle Drop Impacts for more information.

p.s. If you are a land use attorney, please reach out to help us fix the zoning code to better serve all Portland neighborhoods. We also could use some help with the website!!  :)
