International pressure is currently rising against the alleged detention of the 3 student activists. On October 7 IUSF Activist Hashan Jeewantha Gunathilake was Released after 50 days of detention as the government failed to find any evidence of terrorism.  These students were detained for up to 90 days using the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA).  

PTA violates human rights . How come students who peacefully protested against corruptions of the government can be terrorists? 

We need continue  support until rest of the students activists including IUSF convener Wasanatha Mudalige been  released. Also  to end the PTA.
