No lessons learnt from Chennai and Mumbai Floods

I went for site visit yesterday and I was shocked at the destruction of mangroves, wetlands and extension of boundary all around water body extending up to opposite Vanashree building and the speed at which the work is being executed without copy of any permissions on site but only verbal assurance of contractor having all permissions. isn't it mandatory to have copy of permissions at site. They claim land sold by Cidco and permissions given by Cidco. How can Cidco be so insensitive ? Why no approval of Environment department , MCZMA etc. ? Why violation of Mumbai High Court order ? Who will be responsible for Floods in future . Why turn a planned city into disaster city ?
