        On August 14, 2019, Wendy Parris alleged Themba Kelley "broke my arm" and "threatened me with a gun," and that was why she submitted to rape. However,

1.          Shortly after alleging "he just broke my arm," an x-ray revealed "significant callous" an old break. Not just that! When confronted, Parris admitted "the arm had been broken in a car crash earlier that year." She was also (caught on film) using the "broken arm" normally, directly before and after she made the allegations. 

2.          Because she also alleged that Themba Kelley "had just raped her at gunpoint," and was still inside the room "armed with a gun," the police pointed guns at the door. However, after Themba was arrested and they "searched all hiding locations"  according to police testimony; "there was no gun and neither was there any evidence a gun ever existed." See Case No. 19CR53757/ Police Report Pg's 71-72. 

3.          Because both both elements of "forcible compulsion," (the arm and the gun), were proved to be false (on the day of the arrest), they had to know she was lying. Nevertheless, they forged ahead  to indict anyway. Relevantly,

"Innocent Black men are almost 8 times more likely than White men to be falsely convicted of rape [and] most... had been convicted of raping White women. "

4.          What began as a 11 Count indictment is now down to only three! Six were dismissed pre-trial, two were won at trial, and three remain (for appeal) because of the HISTORIC MISCONDUCT of Portland Prosecutor Brian Davidson. Your signatures holds them accountable and also peaceably urges a dismissal of this corruption immediately.
