Today, a group of patients, academics and psychiatrists have formally complained that the president of the UK Royal College of Psychiatrists has misled the public over antidepressant safety. The complaint relates to public statements about antidepressant withdrawal made by the President of the Royal College, Professor Wendy Burn and the Chair of the Psychopharmacology Committee, Professor David Baldwin, in a letter to The Times newspaper.
