Plastic is everywhere. Every single use plastic bottle will take around 500 years to decompose. It will eventually rot down to a micro plastic which may pollute the land or sea.

Micheal Gove the Environment Secretary recently announced that he would fully support the use of a deposit recycling scheme for all sizes of plastic bottles. So far nothing has been done to make this happen as the industry has said it will cost millions to set up.

Company's such as Coca-cola, Pepsi-Co and Evian have a responsibility to ensure that their products do not end up littering our streets, in landfill or the sea. Most plastic bottles are recyclable but sadly only around 10% of all plastic bottles actually ever get recycled. 

This campaign wants all the big single use plastic bottle company producers to pay customers 5p per bottle when returned to them. This scheme already exists in other countries around the world, we demand it here it the England now. The technology is possible it just needs implementing.
