Our page content is American/USA, we have never had any company/country claim our vids until the past 6 months of our almost NINE (9) year old page.

Why is BELARUS and RUSSIA under UMG, claiming our American Videos for $$$ and Why is FACEBOOK allowing it?

I could upload dozens of these screenshots for you but there is a limit to what I can add and they ALL say the same thing... Belarus and Russia claiming the vids or muting the vids (so we have to delete them off the page) When they CLAIM the video, they take the money from our page by doing so.

This has been happening DAILY for the past SIX (6) months and we have been forced to either allow it by FACEBOOK to keep our page going or Delete the videos they claim, again, to keep our page from being deleted.

NO ONE at FACEBOOK will answer our support tickets or emails regarding the matter. We hope this part of our petition complaint allows everyone to understand why we started the petition in the first place.

The Good News (so far) - SINCE the petition started, FB has mysteriously UNRESTRICTED our page to other monetization like the STAR program (to which they know is failing... miserably and rarely does anyone use it to help pages out.

They also suddenly UNRESTRICTED the ability to place ads into the middle of the videos (mid-roll-ads) to which a page can monetize vids longer than 10 minutes.

Why the sudden lift of restriction TWO (2) days after the petition was released?

We are leaving this up, regardless. We will also be adding the petition to any other social platform that can enable us to keep our page alive and hopefully, raise the money necessary to retain an attorney to start the lawsuit.

This is all that has happened since the petition began and we will update you on anything, good or bad.

If our page suddenly disappears, you will know why. We will not delete it, FACEBOOK will have to.
