I spent some time petting him through the bars. He was very receptive and appreciative giving me gentle licks as a Thank you. The petition is a first step in advocating for Blue and to gain community support. It is a delicate situation and we, Blue’s supporters, want to be sure we go about helping to make Blue’s life better the right way and interacting with the right agencies and respecting the applicable laws. 

We successfully submitted a report and documentation to authorities in person yesterday at

We continue to form strong neighborhood alliances through this petition, which will be added to the report. We have learned that this is the second dog that was used as the owner’s guard dog. That dog also showed signs of the same neglect and living conditions with the same legal violations. When he was confronted by our neighbor, the dog disappeared and Blue was brought in as a puppy a year ago.
