Spending still needs a rethink

Thank you for signing this petition. I am seeking the advice of experienced campaigners to help with strategy and next steps and will update you as soon as possible. 

The January 4th announcement of the deployment of 3000 reservists, military hardware, $20 million for air tankers and $5million for masks is welcome. But it is still a bandaid. The War Memorial spend is non-essential. As so many of you have said in the comments, funds need to be directed to supporting our contemporary RFS heroes, fire affected communities and wildlife. Please keep sharing this petition to get the message to government about how we want tax payer dollars spent.
