Have a sparkling 50:50 Christmas!

On Friday 14 Dec BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour invited Frances Scott of 50:50 and many other inspirational women to Parliament for a live broadcast. Listen again here. It was a celebration of the centenary of the very first election in which women could vote and stand. 50:50 had the final word on the programme and we were blown away by the number of people who then went straight onto our website to #AskHerToStand. It has been a fantastic year for 50:50 with around 400 women going to #SignUpToStand at www.5050Parliament.co.uk. Our amazing team of volunteers are now helping them take the next step along the path to Parliament by introducing them to right people in the parties. 50:50 is the "new girls network" and we hope that next year even more women will be signing up to stand!
