Frances Scott and the 50:50 Parliament TeamLondon, ENG, United Kingdom

Love our latest collage just in time for the Conservative Party Conference #CPC16 showing many Torys supporting #5050Parliament, the cross-party campaign for better gender balance at Westminster. 50:50 is not specifying quotas but does have a clear aim because as the saying goes “What gets measured gets managed". Spot Justine Greening, Secretary of State for Education and Minister for Women and Equalities, Amber Rudd Home Secretary, Maria Miller Chair of the Women and Equalities Select Committee and Anne Jenkin, co-founder (with Theresa May) of Women2Win along with many others. Women are good for government just as they are good for business. The latest Credit Suisse Gender 3000 report demonstrates that "With regards to business performance, we find clear evidence that companies with a higher participation of women in decision-making roles continue to generate higher returns on equity" see: http://publications.credit-suisse.com/tasks/render/file/index.cfm?fileid=2FE62430-CAC2-63DF-A854CC6E8F3744DC So lets have more women at Westminster. Join us in asking for solutions. Keep sharing and asking others to sign up! Frances, Hannah, Charlie, Holly and all #5050Parliament Team
