Sadly this disturbing heart wrenching information was revealed by passionate animal advocates offering a reward for information and Investigative Reporter Chorus Nylander who never stopped his investigation on this story.  It was not reported by either irresponsible shelter - imperative information far too late to save the missing animals.

Both shelters failed to demand the animals back after the transport to HSSA when Jessica Des Lauriers (driver of the transport truck) witnessed Christian Gonzalez pack them into truck/vans and transport them off the HSSA property on their death ride.  Lauriers never reported this as a problem because she planned this transport with Gonzales and is responsible for the outcome.  Lauriers should immediately be fired and held accountable.  

This despicable news is no surprise but seeing in it writing is devastating beyond words.  323 animals/victims that trusted humans were deceived in the cruelest possible way by the very people who were supposed to protect them. Their blood is on the hands of both shelter leaders, their CEO's, the board and trustees, Jessica Des Lauriers, Christian Gonzalez, Steve Farley and Colten Jones/The Fertile Turtle/Python Breeder and his brother if involved.

This tragedy is an unacceptable outrage.  Animal cruelty charges are in order for all involved and both shelter leaders replaced for incompetence that caused the suffering and death of hundreds of animals.  These shelters unethically profited from this transfer, fraud charges are in order.

RIP little victims, you did not deserve what was done to you.
