We want to support you in telling society we need to stay with DL for the time being while we make school and society safe from this virus.

We want to support you in using your position to tell The state and national government that our families need more economic support to continue to stay at home and learn from home.

We want to ask you to make this next semester of DL required of students unlike the last semester. We understand why the district made the choice to give students a ‘pass’ in March but we do not feel that DL can be judged fairly in terms of compliance and numbers of students signing in when the students were told at the outset it wasn’t necessary to do so to keep their grades and graduate.

We want to support you in sending the message to all employers private and public in the United States that we are still in the middle of a we against Covid-19 and we will not sacrifice one persons possible safety in the name of returning to a worksite - unnecessarily- while their are other options available- in our case: DL.

We want to support you in, from your position as Superintendent of one of the largest Districts in the United States if America.. that you assert your leadership as a Major force in winning this war against Covid-19.
Our requests are listed in the petition. Overall we think you did a great job of getting us here, of switching to DL instantaneously- of then - listening to teachers and parents requests and adapting.. so: congrats !!

But, we just think it’s too soon to go back to class and thst your office, and our populace is being forced by wants- from without and within to get back to a normal - which can not be guaranteed yet- but will in time..
