We, the undersigned, can rally ourselves up to tell The Walt Disney Company (along with film subsidiary 20th Century Studios (formerly 20th Century Fox)) to revive Greenwich, Connecticut-based computer animation studio Blue Sky Studios (the animation company known for the Ice Age films, the Rio films, Robots, Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who, Epic, The Peanuts Movie, Ferdinand, and Spies in Disguise), which has recently shut down a month ago. When we first heard the news, we were outraged and then we tried so hard to #SaveBlueSkyStudios from getting shut down, we even lashed out at Disney about it. We all gave negative fan reaction to the company getting shut down. Blue Sky Studios was one of my favorite animation companies growing up (especially the Ice Age films). I was so disappointed when I heard the company is getting shut down, especially their last film being Spies in Disguise, released on Christmas Day 2019. This petition is showing off how outraged we are when Blue Sky Studios is shut down.

"Blue Sky Studios, Inc. was an American computer animation film studio based in Greenwich, Connecticut. The studio was founded in 1987 by Chris Wedge, Michael Ferraro, Carl Ludwig, Alison Brown, David Brown, and Eugene Troubetzkoy after their employer, MAGI, one of the visual effects studios behind Tron, shut down. Using its in-house rendering software, the studio had worked on visual effects for commercials and films before completely dedicating itself to animated film production. The studio's first feature, Ice Age, was released in 2002 by 20th Century Fox. Blue Sky produced 13 feature films, its final film being Spies in Disguise, released December 25, 2019. Blue Sky Studios was a subsidiary of 20th Century Animation until its acquisition by Disney, as part of their acquisition of 21st Century Fox assets in 2019. In February 2021, Disney announced that Blue Sky would be shut down in April 2021 citing the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on its business operations. The studio was shut down on April 7, 2021. Ice Age and Rio were the studio's most successful franchises, while Horton Hears a Who! and The Peanuts Movie were its most critically praised films. Scrat, a character from Ice Age, was the studio's mascot. Production on a film adaptation of the webcomic Nimona, originally scheduled to be released on January 14, 2022, was also cancelled as a result of its closure."

For all of you animation fans who were outraged upon hearing about Blue Sky Studios getting shut down by Disney and they want the company to still be active forever, please show all of your support, for The Walt Disney Company to revive Blue Sky Studios, for all of the 1990s/2000s/2010s kids out there, who are fans of the Ice Age, Robots, and Rio movie franchises growing up. This is for the founders, Chris Wedge, Carl Ludwig, Eugene Troubetzkoy, Alison Brown, David Brown, Michael Ferraro, as well as the COO and co-presidents Brian Keane, Robert Baird, and Andrew Millstein, who really need to see this petition as well as the negative fan reactions and fan outrage of Blue Sky Studios being shut down.

If there are any aspiring current/future animators out there, then Blue Sky Studios will be revived and it'll hire these aspiring current/future animators out there. But, only if they see/sign this petition first. Just to be very clear.
