The 2 state solution is gaining momentum – most heads of state support it, except Israel.   What can you do?    Circulate the petition to your friends.  Most important act and have your friend act.   Give praise to leaders who speak out for it especially UN Secretary General Guterres,  and also to the Palestinian Authority,  Arab leaders and President Biden.  

Appeal to Israel.   Appeal to President Biden specifically conditioning Israel aid upon Israel acting on US suggestions, not merely hearing them.    Israel must immediately stop harassing Palestinians, it must stop the killing of Palestinians in the West Bank , it must stop the lockdown of Palestinians in the West Bank which has turned areas such as Hebron into prisons where people cannot exit their homes for fear of being shot, and it must halt and prosecute settler violence in a serious way.   The US state department should reject the sale of automatic weapons to the Israeli national police as the minister of Israel security,  Ben Gvir,  will put many of these weapons in the hands of settlers.    And Israel must actively participate in the 2 state solution – hopefully with a new PM.  

Re Hamas.   They are not animals – animals are loving.   They are evil and took delight in murdering and brutalizing women and children.   Israel has an obligation to destroy them.  One Hamas leader standing,  one rocket installation,  one tunnel, is one too many.   Also one dead Gazan child is one too many.   I had hoped the UN would militarily intervene to achieve these objectives along with release of all hostages but it isn’t happening.  If anyone knows of a solution, please comment.
