For far too long, our city has remained untouched by the magic of anime on the big screen. While others have experienced the thrill of seeing their favorite characters come to life in theatres, we've only dreamed of that moment, holding on to hope, streaming episodes late at night, and imagining what it would feel like to watch those stories unfold beside fellow fans.

We’ve been building our community with love, dedication, and endless passion. And for a long time now, we’ve been trying to bring anime movies, especially Demon Slayer to theatres in Silchar. With the upcoming release of Infinity Castle, we believe the time has finally come.

This movie isn’t just a continuation of a beloved series. It’s a symbol of how far anime has come, winning hearts worldwide, breaking records, and showing the world that these stories matter. From surpassing Spirited Away to becoming a cultural phenomenon, Demon Slayer has united fans globally and we deserve to be part of that experience too.

I still remember watching Demon Slayer: Mugen Train alone in a theatre in Bangalore, my heart was full, but I wished more than anything to have my community by my side. That’s the kind of magic I want to bring to Silchar.

This petition is more than a request, it’s our voice. A voice that says: anime belongs on the big screen in Silchar. With just over 500 signatures, we can show our local theatres that there is real love, demand, and energy for anime here.
