My name is Brock Phillips. I was born in New Orleans, but raised in Plaquemines Parish — from Diamond to Homeplace. I left in 1997 to serve my country. I spent 16 years in the military, then came back and spent another 10 years working for the U.S. Government — from Italy to Texas to the Department of Veterans Affairs. 
That’s 26+ years serving others. 
But my home — Plaquemines Parish — has been waiting to be served for the last 20 years. I realized something through helping others is that -  “Nobody’s coming to help us. So we’re going to help ourselves.” We’re asking for support to bring real money and real rebuilding back to Plaquemines Parish — starting from the bottom, with us. This plan uses new technology (AI) to help us: • Fix our electricity and internet • Bring in clean water and better drainage • Rebuild the marshlands and fishing areas • Make our land stronger against hurricanes • Create good jobs for local people We’re not waiting on the government anymore. We’ve got the plan. We just need the support of the people so we can get the money to do it. That’s why we’re asking you to sign this petition — to show that we believe in fixing our home ourselves.
